Throughout my years in various “dad” jobs a couple things have always been clear.

#1 I genuinely want to see your smile. Paychecks pay the bills, happy customers pay the soul. Although I need to keep the lights on, it truly is your smile at the end of a project that brings the greatest reward and keeps me motivated.

#2 I love to create. The knowledge to bring the broken pieces back to life has certainly been a blessing more than once along the way, but the craftsman in me has never had enough projects! The challenge of bringing your visions to life and the reward of knowing it will be enjoyed for years to come offers a reward that working in shops never will.

After years of encouragement from friends and family, with more gut than gold, it was time to encourage my children to share their own passions with their community in a way they can be proud of, by giving their mother a heart attack and doing it myself! We are lucky to be in land of many amazing artists and artisans and I wont pretend to be the best(yet), but I will be trying to get a little closer everyday with a couple of them in my corner.
